His best mate is Jamie Paterson and was gutted when he left Forest to us.

He’s not getting games at Boro but you will have to ask Pulis why.

Any player you buy will always because they are not 100% happy with their club otherwise they won’t leave unless it’s for a higher division. So I never read into that fact they are not happy so they have attitude.

    Assombalonga latest
This is from TalkSport who have published an exclusive story that Bristol City are ‘locked in talks’ for Boro front-man Britt Assombalonga.

They say that the Robins are hopeful of securing a deal for the former Peterborough United forward before tonight’s 11pm deadline.

    Could it really be happening?

This would be a sign of intent. The last couple of times we have been in a good position in he league in the Jan transfer window we have not gone and got the striker we all knew we needed and it has cost us, especially in 2008. Let’s not be naive again, it’s a 5 month loan for a proven scorer at this level. Only finances should stop this and even then we have to weigh that up with believing we can and want to be top 6!!

Finances are a rather important part of any transfer though , just think who we could have if it wasn’t for pesky finances <laugh>
