The difference is that if you had been allowed to go into Europe no matter what the competition your club would have been as chuffed as a badger in mating season as one of our old managers used to say. Some clubs have no pride in anything and therefore deserve all the "P" taking they get. We all love to see the mighty fall. It is the way of things in England.
If you want to stoke up your contempt for the mighty premiership and it's top team participants then go have a look on the Man U site tonight. The absolute arrogance coming from their so called supporters is staggering. Is it a wonder that the average joe soap who supports a real football club rather than one of half plastics just begs for them to fall on their ass. After reading some of the posts on there I now hope that they do not even qualify for anything next season. They are an embarrassment.
