Yes and no. People rant about those who want to leave early causing them a few seconds of inconvenience. But what about those who insist on standing throughout the whole game meaning that if I wish to remain seated in the SEAT that I have paid for I wouldn't get to see any of the game. And my wife, who isn't the tallest, struggles to see any of the game even standing up. I'm talking away games here because I don't sit at the standing end (if you know what I mean) at St Mary's. Why should that be allowed?
Yes, I think that's true, providing it sits within the guides on viewing the game. So, from a purely selfish point of view, if those people who wish to stand all through the game, could sit down and not block my view, I'd be grateful. We all buy a ticket which includes a seat and we are required to use it. I had enough standing back in the good old, bad old days. Those that wish to leave early, get yourselves gone. Don't hang around on the stairs, looking back and blocking my view. Those who wish to go to the concourses, to have yet another pie and pint, why not just stay there, and stop making me get up every time I'm well into the match. I'm sure there are other annoyances, but that will do for now.
The point about standing during play action, is that it is against the Ground Rules, a polite word with a steward may get a response, but tends to make yourself the unpopular one, which isn't how it is supposed to be, as you are within your rights to complain, some people are very selfish and disrespectful, we meek people just have to sit and suffer.
