What is the minimum we need for a champions league campaign in summer?

I get the deal but a part of me wants someone else.
Think Howe can get him back to how he was when he first came on the scene. I also expect Gordon to have given the team the low down on him.

Replacement for Wilson in order to spend big else where then it's a no brainer.

Also, I think the likes of Harrison will learn more from being an understudy to Cunha than Murphy

It's just baffling when you see people so fixated on one position turning their nose up at an elite player.

All of a sudden we'd have arguably the best fwd line and the best midfield in the league.

You're right because the youth would learn from them and get better training with them.

It's probably more a realism thing than it is his dream scenario. Once we have signed quality at RW (£50m ish), GK (£30m ish) and RCB (£50m ish), we'll be scraping about to find the money for a better backup CF. There almost certainly won't be enough left over for x2 backup CB options as well.

I'm starting to wonder if we might go for Cunha at £63m to cover CF and RW for us. Then Huijsen for £50m. Trafford for £25m - £30m. Done and dusted. If we even have that much to spend... And I'd be delighted with that window to be honest <laugh>

Do we really need a GK this summer?

Trafford, Huijsen, Cunha and Lewin

Job done

I'd like to suggest a left field replacement for Calvert-Lewin:

Francesco Pio Esposito
Plays for Spezia Calcio in Serie B on loan from Inter and is a current Italy under 21 international
valued by transfermarkt at €17m

Record:
Serie B 24/25: 14 goals, 1 assist in 29 appearances
Italy U21: 7goals, 3 assists in 11 caps.

Might be very difficult to get out of Inter as has a long contract (2030) but if we could put the right money on the table, I'd hope he'd turn into another Huijsen like talent
