The assertion that Arsenal will finish above us by some fans might do the same to you. This obsession by both sets of fans and players about finishing higher than the other has reached chronic proportions. JayRam,you have overlooked the fact that Spurs now have a top coach and have finished in Europe two seasons on the trot now. We are not new to Europe having been the first English team to win a European trophy. When Spurs had a top coach before we were often in the top 4 and winning trophies and the same can happen again provided we can keep at or lure a top coach to WHL. If that happens get used to us challenging and even out doing you as was once was. As for RVP and your other scorers, take him out and the fragile confidence of the others would shatter.

It was boring when we were so much better than you as I'm sure it was for Liverpool over Everton and Utd over City. It is boring this dominance England has over Scotland in everything but these things can be turned around and we are turning it around slowly on you. If you remember the season that we had George Graham we finished third and won a trophy. Why? Because we were the first team to do the double a full 10 years before you did under Bill Nicholson we were the top team and that made him England's top coach. So a top name back again just brings the old results and performances and positions back again. When Bill Nicholson was here we were far better than you and should we get a top name and Wenger leaves then we will be far better than you again.

just as a quick aside you have only beaten us in normal time once in the last 10 matches giving credence to what I'm saying.

Jayram, just take a moment and honestly, man for man, match up our respective first 11s. I think you'll find that RVP aside, and maybe Vermallen, we match or exceed the ability and more important, the application of your players. I know that may not be easy, as we all have our loyalties, but ask a few neutrals. This is isn't an overnight thing, it's been happening, (we have slowly improved and AW has failed to do what is required to keep your team at the level it has been, let alone improve,) over the past four years or so.

I say first 11, because, as far as depth of squad goes, I think we have been stronger than you for a while now.

If RVP does go, he is the last of your tier 1 players to leave. When Henry left you had Fabregas. If RVP goes who is there left? If he picks up an injury, all bets are off. History tells us at some point he will, it also tells us that AW will probably bring him back too soon and extend the spell he is not available.

It woud be arrogant to be certain about the finishing positions because everyone knows that sport is unpredictable. However I think it is a realistic statement that the Spurs' team and squad is now better than Arsenal's and probably at least as good as Chelsea's. So anything less than 4th would show underperformance. If you look at the Sporting Index long term market on Premier League places, Spurs are exactly the same price as Chelsea, and Spurs have to finish third for a buy bet to win or fifth for a sell bet to win. You win betting on Arsenal if they finish fourth.

Interesting stuff, and you have managed to contradict yourself in the most stupendous fashion.

PNP and I have worked together to try and prevent trolling from BOTH sides, and yet I am a ****wit?

It is about people gettinng on with it, the bigger picture...maybe not a familiar thing for you?

I have had my differences with a couple of people on this board, but hopefully have worked them out...that remains to be seen, and is based on them and me going forward.

No one begrudges your optimism for this season, and for that which is one of the best Spurs squads for years, but it is your manner that irks people and the persistent "SPURS ARE GREAT, YOU ARE ****" response to any thread on other teams boards...it is not in any way a contribution to the thread itself, and not welcomed by most fans across this site it would seem.

I find the most interesting question coming earlier, in as much as "how many boards have you been banned from" aimed at you...I am still curious to hear your answer as you haven't yet provided us with one.

Everyone loves their club, it's how you go about it that makes the difference.

If I came on here calling you everything under the sun you'd react in the typical way, so don't be so surprised about how you get treated elsewhere.

What a load of old bollocks.
If I can't write anything positive, then don't write anything?
Well don't write articles asking for people's ****ing opinions then!

You've already been banned from at least two boards, so don't attempt to pretend that there are some over-sensitive Chelsea fans persecuting you.
How many times do you think people are going to think that there's really a wolf?

Tier one means players that would not look out of place in established (ie they have won it several times,) CL sides. We have none, maybe Modric on a good day, you have one, (although his injury record makes him a high risk buy for anybody.) For now.

Of course we can't agree on this, that's why I asked you to ask a neutral.

But let us know what the weather is like in Denial, won't you.

    As a neutral:

    -----------Szczesny-----------
    Walker---King--Verm--Ekotto
    --------Parker--Wilshere-------
    Walcott------VDV-------Modric
    --------------RVP---------------

    Maybe even Friedel over Szczesny

Yep they were the two toughies for me, Sagna on form is class but Walker looks as if he's going to be brilliant.

As for Song, not too keen on his attitude in comparison to Parker who works his arse off whilst performing at consistant level.

    No Bale?

I don't think that looks any better than our 1st XI

    No Bale.

Although, I do think he's as good/better than Walcott but would he play as good on the right...

I think Vermaelen and RVP would greatly improve our team

In my opinion there's not much difference between Friedel/Szczesny, Sagna/Walker, King/Vermaelen, Walcott/Lennon. The big differences come with RVP, Modric, Benny and Bale who are head and shoulders above their rival's equivalent and that's not saying their equivalent is poor.

I feel like doing one, I'd have: Friedel; Sagna, King, Vermaelen, Benny; Parker, Modric, Walcott, Bale; VDV, RVP. Wilshere's a bit unfortunate not to be in the team but he's 2nd to the best centre mid in the league.

    Manchester United supporter in peace

Tottenham Hotspur are the best team in London and whilst I dont believe they wont win the league they have a good chance of finishing third in the league. They may even finish second if Man City lose at Anfield on sunday and with their lack of experience crumble a la Newcastle in 1996.

Arsenal are doing well but they have a very poor defence and one injury to Robin Van Persie and they will crumble.

Chelsea are in total chaos and its an absolute shambles. Chelsea are a team in decline and I wouldent be suprised to see big Micks team beat Chelsea at the bridge tomorrow.

Lampard looks really immobile and fat and John Terry is even slower with his mental state all over the place whilst others at the club are simply not interested anymore in Chelseas plight. I like Torres and I believe he just wants out of a sinking ship

Harry has done a fantastic job at Spurs and Tottenham are really really on the up. Great great club with fantastic traditions and that 1961 team are one of the finest football teams English football has ever seen

<laugh> other! In your heart of hearts you cannot surely believe Sagna is better than Walker and you are an idiot if you think Song is better than Parker. Does your guide dog get you to the TV to listen to the game?

Don't get where this Song hype comes from, the only people i've ever heard rave about him were gooners.
