What is so wrong about being upbeat about our chances this season?

Discussion in 'Tottenham Hotspur' started by Hoddle is a god, Nov 23, 2011.

  1. No, PNP! You have no faith in this Spurs side. You are slagging me off for believing in this side, when you lack the balls to speak out with confidence. Don't accuse me of "trolling other boards" when all I have done is have a debate on the Chelsea board with a couple of ******s, a wum, and a ****-witted mod. Why are you even supporting the Chavs? They spend their whole time undermining us, and you kiss their arses.

For the last time, get off my case. If you cannot write anything positive, write nothing.

  2. Listen, pal, I could not give a toss what you do or do not think of me. Clearly, you lack the ability to express yourself positively about this Spurs side. I suspect that you had issues with your father as a child. Perhaps he belted you once too often. I don't know and I don't care.

You accused me of being ******ed, when clearly you are a ****-wit. I take it as a compliment that a ****-wit believes me to be ******ed, because it means I have got under your skin (although, for the life of me, I don't know why that should be).

As for me being an "attention seeker"... well thanks for giving me some attention, you ****-wit. Now **** off, and leave me alone <ok>

  4. So, you want to butt in and add your tuppence worth, now?

    Go on, then.

Don't hide behind a slap-head icon. Speak your mind and slag-off a supporter who believes in this Spurs side.

HIAG, I am entitled to "butt in" wherever I like, just as you are entitled to your views on Spurs, this is a public forum.

The use of the slap-head icon was because I didn't feel your speculative and frankly inappropriate insult merited spending much time over. You need to stop getting so angry just because people disagree with you, it's absolutely ridiculous.

I'm not, "even if its briefly" in my previous post should have covered that...rendering your reply rather 'uneccessary'...that is all I'm saying. :)

Sorry I meant attention seeker who couldn't read properly. "We are all happy with the way things are going and we all hope for good things this year." Missed that?

Maybe I should run to the mods. Naaaah that's more your style. No wonder Spurs fans and those from other boards don't warm to your "eloquence." I'm bored with you now fella. You're a one trick pony and the trick's not that good. Sorry I can't take you on in a battle of wits; I refuse to fight an unarmed man.

By the way, my "old man" died when I was 7 so I guess his belting opportunities were a little limited. Who knows? Maybe I just don't like ill-considered articles by WUMs with anger management issues and a limited vocabulary?

  9. Sorry to hear that, Chirpy.

HIAG mate- you're bang out of order. I hope you realise that- even if your point is a valid one- there is no justification for the sorts of insults and accusations you've been throwing around this thread, and I hope the fact that Chirpy was orphaned at such a young age makes you realise that.

Now, can we all just be friends again?

I mean, crikey, you'd think this was the Arsenal board!

Thanks TL&TOHP but it was (even more unfortunately) quite a time ago now! My skin's pretty thick anyhow.<ok> I must admit, I went a little over the top here in the way I expressed myself, but I stand by what I said. I guess HIAG and I will have to agree to disagree, I prefer to save my ire for WUMs of a non Spurs variety anyway.

It's sad when people get so angry because of a football team. I never let myself get carried away by it by getting too deep. I haven't looked back to see what the problem is in the first place but I hope it can be forgotten and that you can get back to what has been some excellent football debate and points on this forum. Nobody respond please but I lost my dad when I was 5 and my mum when I was 8 but things like that shouldn't be brought in to answer sarcastic points or insults. Please calm down. I know I don't have to look if I don't want to,none of us do but arguments on a website tend to add gloom to everybody.
Anyway lawro has us down for a draw. I'd like to modify that to a Spurs win if we score first. I think that we might have too much for WBA if we do that.

Do us, and your stress levels a favour HIAG, jump off a fukin bridge!, sick to death of your hyperbole ruining every thread. You can write good stuff, but you've behaved like a complete tool here.

Thanks Chirps but I think it depends on us scoring first as I posted. Have you seen the stats between us two? It's neck and neck. It's why I'm never 100% confident against them. Plain sailing afterwards though.

Well that's not fair, because if we finish above you we were hardly going to mention it! <whistle>

    11 games ;)

I'd expect nothing less. However if we finish 4th and you 3rd, like some of your fans have suggested, I'd be too delighted to care.

Jayram, you had an uncharacteristic start to the season this time around by losing and not just losing but getting thrashed. I have an idea that the form you suffered at the start might just come back again so that's a word of caution to you. Look what's happened to Chelsea since their loss at QPR,they've buckled as often a defeat can start a string of bad results. Now if you are going to say that it could happen to us well I don't think so. We don't rely on only one player to score for us.

I'm off the mindset that it is better to enjoy it internally. It will be bad enough for Chelsea and Arsenal Fans to see us above them and generally doing quite well against them in recent years. I really think we can win against Chelsea this year, and finish above them both. If we do, then I will enjoy it should it happen.
