Players are sometimes worth more to you than their market value. We surely wouldn't sell a fit Chaplow for less than 1.5 million.
I agree. I would not sell Chaplow for any less than 3m because i think that's the price we would have to pay for an able bodied replacement along with the inflated wages.
Cork, Chaplow, Hoover and Lambert are the reason why we are not splashing the cash on new players. If you can find that quality for the prices we paid then that should give us all a clue why we've not spent 5m on one player. I don't think that will change soon but I have been wrong before...
