Not really a lottery. He got pole too. His team mate bourdais qualified 4th I think and messed up in the race . It wasn't a fluke
Even without that race STR beat Red Bull. Also, Newey's been at Red Bull since 2006 and they didn't win until Vettel arrived in 2009. Not that it matters, Vettel's arrival coincided with Red Bull's upturn in form, same with Hamilton at Mercedes.

It's ok for Vettel forPresident to walk around with Lewis on one shoulder and Seb on his back... I dont think anyone will shun him in this age.... But I am not interested in that, all I want is some discussion on the cars, teams drivers and their driving talent...that's all.

I think it's about time that it saw a revival, so I will be championing it's use during the 2014 season.
you've done nothing but slag him & RBR off since the day you first posted, the simple truth of the matter is if he wasn't that good there's no way RBR would've kept him on, they aren't shy in getting rid of their mediocre young drivers, or the fairly good ones either, he's broken pretty much every record there is (except the one Chilton will never lose), and not always in the best car (lotus and Ferrari were the best at the start of the season, and he still led them in the title before the tyre change).
He's making himself a legend of the sport with still many, many years ahead of him. I don't think anybody can actually believe he's only a mediocre driver. Yes his car gives him massive advantage, but even with a car that's of similar performance to the competition, he's still right there. RBR aren't going to build a rocket ship and let a monkey pilot it. I fear I may have just wondered in to Woy Hodgeson territory.
Usually the best driver/car combination wins.. It's the way of F1, and not for the first time things are being changed to try mix it up. Although I'm bored to tears by his dominance, I have no interest in stupid ways to try stop him winning... but F1 is nothing if not slightly ridiculous.
