What I love about the Santon signing more than Santon himself

    I don't think he does, but you're entitled to your opinion. He's very big in France, but beyond that, there's nothing really unique about him other than being a very good player.

    With Santon, he was touted as a wonderkid of world football from a very young age, and he had Champions League performances at the age of just 17 against the likes of Christiano Ronaldo which caught an awful lot of attention. It's unique **** like that which really got him picked out by the European media.

    Plus, like I've said, his abilities on Football Manager mean that a lot of attention has been drawn to him by fans of the game. I'd honestly suspect that a big chunk of the people so amazed at the signing of Santon are only so amazed because of how awesome he becomes on FM. That still helps the buzz mind, so I'll take it.

    Ben Arfa was a definite coup, but there's something a little more surprising about the signing of Santon in the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, France and all the other countries in Europe. It's more of a universal "wtf"
