Burnham On Crouch
is when you look how many players we have bought over the last few years why we still haven't got a,team to be proud of, win or lose! You look at Hull and Burnley, who came down with us, they still have the nucleus of their original team with one or two additions, and look where they are now in the league. I have supported Rangers since 1954 so it is not a fly by night thing, but why do we get it so wrong in the transfer market time and time again.
 
Tony and co bet the farm on staying in the big time and were let down badly by managers and players alike. Now they have knee-jerked to the other extreme, are running scared of FFP and are looking at any possibility of recouping at least some of their huge losses. I can't blame them TBH but small clubs like us need something in the middle - solid, sustainable, long term investment not boom or bust economics. That's what the likes of Burnly and Hull have I believe. I do worry that SLF has a remit to do something similar to what was asked of the Judas Wilkins all those years ago..
