Can he learn how to score goals for Leicester, like his singular namesake used to?

Went to the NZ vs New Caledonia game and Wood worked his socks off. Clearly needs a goal to settle him down but is definitely a class act. Hit the post and won everything but just needs a goal or two to get back on track. Hopefully this talk of a fall out with Pearson is rubbish. He has been given the next qualifier off so probably in sunny Portugal with the rest of the lads and sods law says he will come back against his old team mates at the weekend and get a couple.

.. going to be an interesting one this TC - if we should lose then I fear that Nigel Pearson will be shown the door - have to say that I would back us to win this one, not least for the dynamic that 'returning' players just seem to have a habit of notching (Kermorgant both home and away for Charlton against us) but also because I'm hoping your boys are going to be somewhat distracted by the prospect of the upcoming little fixture at Wemberleeeee ...

Players are on high at the moment Fosse - & I think that Danny ****tu getting 2nd in the Championship Player of the League awards behind Vydra will boost them even further <cheers>

Lets hope it has the same effect as MOTM <ok>

What is it with Millwall, do they have the record for managerial sackings after losing to them?

Would be strange to see another manager sacked after a home defeat to Millwall...

In the last 3 seasons, Sven Goran Eriksson, Owen Coyle, John Barnes, George Burley, Steve Coppell & Michael Appleton have all been sacked after losing to us <ok>

Wood was shocking again tonight - Kasper made 3 world class saves in the first half to keep you in it. Thought you battled well 2nd half without really creating much, but we were very poor despite having the man advantage - we need a goalscorer of some sort if we are going to trouble Wigan at Wembley <ok>

Bump - what the **** is wrong with Wood - only 2 goals in his last 20 league appearances - sounds like he badly neede that hattrick the other week against Carlisle!!
