They will soon do initiatives like have Nabby Sarr come over to deliver it then give your kids a masterclass in defending... ... oh.
What will be interesting is the deals that they will be offering before the end of the season to get renewals in.. It will probably have to be pretty spectacular to get the west stand to sign up let alone the North Upper. The mentality in the west stand is totally different to that in the North and East as we all know, but whilst they won't protest they also will take a lot of convincing to renew. I sit in the west (no I don't drink Bovril) and whilst the old lads that sit around me won't stand up to protest (some of them would have difficulty) they are also rumbling about non renewal. They in particular see it as a value for money issue particularly those of them that pay for the Millennium suite who have been overheard commenting that they only get a free coffee these days so what's the point in paying out several hundred quid a season. This is the undercurrent that the Belgians do not see, the expensive seats may not protest because they either cant or don't do that sort of thing but equally their drive from South East Kent and Sussex could easily switch to the Gills or Brighton or indeed an afternoon in the garden. That will be another revenue deficit for the club next year.
Absolutely right, SVC, and they will find it well nigh impossible to get them back. Have a look at the Blackpool forum- at first it looks similar headlines to ours, with the Oystons instead of the Belgian Mafia, but then you notice that it's all quite old, they've given up. We must never do that. The social media is now pretty unanimous in it's opposition to the Belgians, with only CASTrust spokesmen still wanting dialogue. In fact there's hardly a post anywhere about anything else. Now that Murray has stuck his head above the parapet I expect him to be targetted, and it would be a great coup if he walked away, leaving the CEO without her human shield.
It's got to be another protest before and after Blackburn whatever the result as big or bigger than last weeks and a few more stand up if you want them out during the game and of course Karel booed on his walk of shame win or lose. What would be great would be a top performance and win v Blackburn yet still a big protest and boos fore Karel at full time . It's a lot bigger an issue now than just on he field performances as Royson says he'd be against this lot if we were top of the league with messi in our team I'm 100% with him on this . Let's mobilise and up THD protests . We won our battle to get back home all those years ago we can win this one.
We need to make this a game where the Covered End have got to say "f*** singing anything other than anti Meire/Duchatelet/Fraeye/Meire stuff". That will be hard but it needs to be done.
Two weeks to get organised for even bigger and more hostile protests at the Blackburn game. Protests before and after the game, and wait in the car park until the players and management have to run the gauntlet Makienok's comment last time "what has this got to do with us?' says all you need to know about the cowardly players mentality.
