My point is this. We are masking the issue of Michu being a spoilt knob by suggesting he has mental health issues. He was fine when Laudrup was here.
Was he? He was main ring leader knocking on the chairman's door complaining at the lack of training.....

Mirror Football say Michu’s representatives told the Scottish champions that the striker, who scored 20 goals in his 52 Swans appearances, is weighing up his future after his latest setback. Manager Garry Monk insists the striker won’t rejoin his squad and hopes a deal with his former teammate can be struck to suit both parties. being Why not , it's been freely discussed on here and we're always right aren't we ? The guy has been diagnosed by "experts" on this board as him having a mental issue (no disgrace in that if he has ), funny that there's not been one inkling of it maybe true in any of the media , a high profile player not playing football , you'd have thought someone would have mentioned it . Just think one man's normality is another mans insanity.
Its a private matter and nothing to do with football. Only Michu and the doctors and maybe the club would know his mental state.....I tell you what i would be depressed if i thought my career was on the line at his age after doing so well and tipped to be a £30m super star. .I cant imagine how he is feeling but he wont be jumping for joy that's for sure...
If he had a problem then the Club would know about it believe me , even the kids in the Academy see a sport psychologist at least once a season .As an adult he'd be under greater pressure and he would be constantly monitored , you say it's got nothing to do with football then I suggest you have a rethink, Why do you think the Club has such strong links with Swansea University , it wasn't just to borrow a few acres of land to build Fairwood .
I agree Matt. Personally I don't see any connection between Michus behaviour and mental health problems.
Nor me ,but then I could be wrong .. I don't believe any one on this Board knows either , it's all conjecture .
The latest is he had another operation so he is obviously going to see out his contract. On the subject of mental health if he is suffering from it he has my sympathy. I never thought it would happen to me. However in the last four years I have had two major stomach operations and an operation for a strangulated hernia. I am now under the doctor receiving treatment for depression. It is debilitating, you lack motivation to even do things you enjoy and I wouldn't wish it on anyone believe me it is not something to be scoffed at.
Sorry for what you're going through, I've lost a few people due to depression. Get well soon mental illness can hit anyone at anytime just like a physical illness.
You are quite right,Matthew, and it would have been an acceptable thing to post. But then he wouldn't have seemed so knowledgeable.
