If he doesn't rate him then why did he bring him in? I have to say the money we have wasted on non scoring centre forwards could have been put to better use.
Simpson hardly cost us anything and he was probably the best we could afford at the time. A young striker in on loan would be my bet for this season
http://kissermag.com/ shortlist - Tom Cairney taking the role / keeping tabs on Michael O'Connor at Scunny (think he's injured at the mo?) Dean Leacock on loan defender shortlist.
west brom had a quality playmaker when they got promoted a few years ago, cant remember his name tho and dont know where he is..
Scun thorpes O'Conner would be perfect addition for the Tigers. City could offer some of our kids ie, Devitt and Bradley on season long loans to the Iron. O'Conner IMO is as good as Neil Danns. With the Irish boys we already have that is a very good shout. was impressed with O'Conner last season and is wasted in league one. As far as i know he has yet to sign a new contract at scunny as he is in the last year now. Get him in NP.
he is like Bullard. has far to many off pitch issues and problems. would be amazed if NP went for someone like that.?
I said in my opinion he should be, but I'm not the manager and it's not my decision to make, the bloke who does make that decision doesn't rate him.
Leacock was part of that infamous Derby County side which notched up 11 points in the PL a few years back..
so would i to be fair, he gets forward, excites crowds and gets plenty of shots on goal..he definatley wont go for him..
Well if NP can keep him locked in the dressing room when not playing then he might. Its whjat he gets upto when not playing and training that matters as well. No point in replacing one bad apple with another, surely ?
