Don't forget that as soon as tony tweeted about the stadium and hopefully bringing us concrete plans within a couple if months, there was an article in the press within a couple of days from Phil Beard pouring water on what TF had said, more or less stating that yes the plans were going forward, but until we had secured a sight then we wouldn't hear very much. A case of our tony getting a little ahead of himself.

Although I'm sure the powers that be are worried about going ahead in our current state, a new stadium is required whatever division we are in. Lets not start second guessing and expecting the worst. It will happen I'm sure but there's more pressing things to worry about.

If we get relegated, we lick our wounds, regroup and push for promotion again. And we can be contenders...

No new ground for the time being. I'll be happy with a picture of Mark Hughes on the wall of the Ellerslie urinals so we can pay our respects...

We should press ahead with the ground even if we get relegated, its going to take 4-5 years so we should be back in the PL by then. We will have to survive 4-5 years on 18k crowds if we wait until we get back.

I would agree, either that or sell the ground for shopping or housing and build elsewhere. Staying with LR condemns us to a poor future.

There won't be any 18,000 crowds in the Championship, we'll be lucky to break 10,000 with high prices and a losing team...

We have something like 1500 restricted view tickets, we sell out the unrestricted seats all the time but people dont want to pay a lot of money if they arent sure they wont see a goal. We will sell out in the PL, we just have to have lower prices. Look at the German leagues where they have 10k more on average per game and you can watch for £15.
