    Even it wasn't frowned upon as much them days, if a 50 year old man can sleep with somebody's child then morally, regardless of the times, that is just plain wrong and that beast knew that.

    No excuses, I've read and took on board all your points but it all boils down to the point that he is 1 sick ****ing nonce who knew it was wrong or he wouldn't have kept it covered. They should dig his body up and chuck it on the Thames bit by bit

    No matter how reasoned, sympathetic or understanding - this point is key!

    Granted, it may have been closer to sexual misdemeanor than criminal offense, given the attitudes of the time - but if he were entirely free from guilt and felt entirely innocent about the whole thing, there would never have been a mass cover up!

    It's not like everybody was it at either, still a very small majority.

    I agree it wasn't as big a deal as it is now, but, it was still WRONG at the end of the day and he knew that, that's what makes him a nonce imo

    its being reported now theres 300 and some of them are looking to take the bbc and the nhs for compensation
