The truth for all to know, is that it was VERY tame after their initial WUM which to be fair was, although annoying, a VERY funny go at our expense as to a certain game one year ago. You & I took it as such & joined in while you polished off "3 bottles of red". Now to those who know Billy you'd have to agree that he can get wound up at times but on this occasion, hence my nominating for the "Henry Kissinger award for diplomacy" he was the model of well behaved & about to get let out for good behaviour. Threads as you know move along as they do & one Newcastle gentleman got a little carried away & claimed there win last year was the greatest event in his life by "Ranking it ahead" of what most would consider more important events in most peopleâs lives. Talk about walking into a BRICK wall All but one of his own joined in, accompanied by Billy & I which lead to some VERY FUNNY banter Unfortunately as we all found out he'd had a very sad event happen in his life which given the previous comments apologies were, offered & accepted BY ALL with hand shaken & best wishes to all before logging off around 3am. One smart arse comment was later added after the others had gone by a Jonny come lately Newcastle child which spoilt the party. The thread was either pulled due to a complaint by another Newcastle supporter who tried to take the moral high ground when he couldnât see the other had opened himself up or a very tender Mod. More piss was being taken by other Newcastle loggers!! The banter WAS no worse than at many other times, only this time the commentators had it all sorted well before others woke in the morning, which was what made it even better. Ps: Billy - Your right about the "edit" as I looked before going out & it WASN"T the same as when you logged off!
Kiwi, Syd has admitted pulling it & thinks it was right. He's even followed me ower to the Saints board to confirm it marra. I find that very disappointing but hope him & I can make it up.
