Hull won at home. Against a side that will finish bottom six. We lost away, narrowly, to a team that may well finish top six. Not even comparable.

So you are already saying that we will finish above you at the end of the season despite your resources and good manager? (no sarcasm or belittlement intended in that comment)

I'm not surprised, you must be worried that we are playing teams off the park, scoring goals and playing dazzling football. Even a tad envious maybe?

Hopefully Leicester might be able to play like we are in the near future?

We have a game against Leeds to win before we worry about this mob.

And I hate our games against Leeds, we always seem to cock it up against them, particularly at the ****-hole that is Elland Road, £138 for four seats ffs.

    Not at all.

I'll only agree on the bet when it's fair. Surely you can understand that?

We're playing teams off the park, but missing chances and I wouldn't bet against you being the side that kickstarts our season with a nice easy win with plenty of goals.

Just been having a look at this thread and I see Charlie is showing his true colours.

Not only is he a mentally deficient dimwit, he is a racist one at that.

Ban the ****er - the amusement we get from his stupidity it not worth it.

But AKCJ it can't be a fair bet unless we had the same buying power as Leicester. I'm quite happy to still take the bet despite Leicester having much more money and most of Thailand on their side. It's not a level player field but I like being the underdog!

Have faith in your team and NP, they'll do you proud!

    Go on.

How did you work that one out?

You're write-downs on outgoing players were bigger than our spending ahead of this season and even ignoring this completely, i think you still spent more.

I'm surprised an educated poster such as yourself used the incorrect your, but hey ho we all post typo's

Write downs hardly contribute to team strengthening though do they

    No, we didn't spend more.

We probably spent about 4m in total. James, De Laet, Vardy and Whitbread all at 1m.

Granted nobody knows how much we bought Knocks for.

You spent over half that one one player who now can't even get into your first team. You bought 8 other players in this summer.

    Whitbread was free

Vardy, James, De Laet and Knockaert are the only ones we paid a transfer fee for. All for around 1M

We also had to pay Portsmouth compensation for Marko Futacs

We re-couped around 4M from the sales of Mills, Bamba and Peltier

For Knockaert's price I havent got a clue. I have seen 2.5M being quoted and 1M. I would imagine it would be around 1M but dont know for sure

OK then AKCJ, at this point in time you think the tigers will finish above the foxes.

Thanks for your confidence in Steve Bruce's black and amber army.

    Good luck in the play-offs!
