i was unfortunate enough to have to listen to today's game via the radio with a Liverpool fan (at work) with many more waiting in the wings to slag me on social media. From what I heard they weren't at the races and I even said to my work college that Bridcut should be taken off at half time. Wickham didn't even get a mention (to be fair a few didn't) then when Danny Graham came on I really began to despair! Are we really that bad, that we need to bring on Danny?

Yes mate, we were that bad. Watched it on tv, wasn't there. We are set up to defend deep, and we do that from the first minute which gives the initiate, and most of the pitch, to the opposition. Set up not to lose. The flaw in that plan is if the opposition score early on, we will be chasing the game. Which would be okay, if we had the quality up front, and in midfield, to do so........ Now I see the flaw in Gus's plan.......
Two ****e teams...Only differences was that the officials gave everything to Liverpool and their 2,500 fans or so Liverpool fans backed their team far more than our 40 odd thousand did..
I have to get this off my chest. Woke up at 4:30am to watch the game. I watch every game. Should have slept in. This was dire. Bad. Thoughts of relegation bad. Goal scoring forward needed yesterday.
Don't go with that one RAW, a penalty not given to them on 4 mins, Bridcutt arms all over the place when he committed his offences, and Coutinho was looking away when we tried to take a free kick and this was deliberately done by us to get him booked a second time. Their goal came from their player harassing ours into a mistake when he had time to clear. Something not done by us. Sour grapes time I reckon.
What scares me too is in 51 games (under Gus) after going behind we've only won 1. Another worrying trend is when we do score the players seem to switch off allowing the opposition to score..
