I kept missing the delivery and having to go to the depot to collect it, which wasn't that much of a big deal, but I thought it'd be easier all round if I just ticked the option to collect it directly from there in the first place to save everyone ****ing about. The ****s refused to accept it and offered no explanation as to why, so it had to be sent back to the supplier, for them to resend to my home address, and because I wasn't in, taken back to the depot for me to collect.
I'm walking distance so I can at least pop back in a bit. But that's not the point. It's my early finish and right now I should be at one with the sofa, in me pants, drinking a chilled sancerre. But thanks to them twats I've had to keep my clothes on.
It used to be one missed delivery then off to the depot. Easy for everyone...when they had decent opening hours. Don't get me started on Evri.
Before I sold our business two years ago I used to go there six days a week at 7.30 to collect all the mail orders we were being sent. The staff were absolutely brilliant and during covid when we were inundated with work and we were getting up to five times as much post as usual, they even allowed me to collect our post on days they were not open to the public. They were constantly hampered by diktats from management that had no reasoning behind them, leaving the counter staff to face the fury of indignant customers.
I can see the hull live headlines. Female royal mail staff weak at the knees as bronzed early 90s Steve Beaton lookalike struts in wearing only his shreddies.
Sorry but what’s he done to lose his career ? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...Africa-tried-fly-packed-plane-UK-exposed.html
Has he lost his career? This suggests he could get his license back. An airline must immediately inform us if a UK pilot has misused drink or drugs boarding, or being on board, an aircraft,' it said. 'In these cases we would immediately suspend the pilot's medical which means they cannot fly. 'In most cases the pilot would have an assessment with an expert medical team and if they wished to return to flying then a comprehensive rehabilitation programme would be put in place. 'The medical would only be reinstated if we were completely satisfied.'
The original story is of him being under the influence of drink and/or drugs when he was part of the cabin crew returning to the UK. He would have been arrested and tested at the airport, a positive test is instant dismissal and it would be extremely difficult to get a similar job in the industry.
People who blow my doors off and then flip me off after they pass me. They can **** off, not going to go 30 miles over the speed limit and risk getting a ticket just to make you happy.
Can someone explain to me how the xxxx something like this is headline news and immediately below they mention the petty matter of a massacre taking place in the Middle East. https://www.thesun.co.uk/ https://www.mirror.co.uk/ https://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/sky-news-slammed-holly-willoughbys-31156439
Right, deep breath. Firstly, are you OK? I hope so... Nah, only kidding. (Although not sure how I can). I 100% agree with you.

In a pub in Birmingham yesterday, a round for 4 pints came to about £23. Turns out 2 of them where £4.75, the others £6.50, the dearer ones were the weaker of the 4. I don't expect all beer to cost the same and I expect to pay a bit in a City Centre but I think a difference of almost 2 quid is a bit rich. Prices should be displayed somewhere obvious.
