So, what was it he said about Nasri then?

There's two articles, with quotes from the man himself talking about other teams' players. I can find more if you want me to? There's one where he claimed you'd already signed De Gea from about late May time.

Edit: Here it is - http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2011/May/Sir-Alex-confirms-De-Gea-deal.aspx

People on caughtOffside who always type out a fantasy team list to go along with every bullshit transfer rumour.

Givemefootball.com and how all the people who leave comments on their bullshit rumours appear to be clueless Africans who are taking 5 minutes out from their email scams to fall for the crap, with comments like "sign him now"

Basically every two bit, bullshit "so called" news site on the internet and all their feckless stupid regulars.

Oh yes, Liverpool obsessed mancs. Why spend your time on our forums and replying to our news stories, just get on with supporting your own team. You keep banging on about being the best and all that, but you still need to come in here.

'ITK's on twitter. Particularly the ones who claim to have 'called a deal' at a moment when anyone who follows the club and their interest in targets knows it's 99% likely to come off (Adam/Downing.) One guy talked about his prediction of the Doni deal as if it all (our interest/negotiations) literally happened in one day and he was the first to break it.
Or the ones who get a text off an anonymous 'mate' or 'source' - or even just come out with a random player with credit to no source (because they don't exist) - and finish the tweet with #rumour.

Rival fans who think all Liverpool fans walk around saying "next season is our year", I have never and have never heard one Liverpool fan say that.

Utd fans who slate the atmosphere at Anfield...'m guessing they haven't experienced the pre-arranged sing-a-long at Old Trafford.

Rio Ferdinand..How can someone that stupid play football, he makes 1 watt bulbs look bright.

Ex-footballers as TV "experts", like they never did anything wrong on a pitch!!

Mark Lawrenson, I know he's a red but get him off the TV FFS.

I also hate players squaring up on the pitch, just get on with it! It's not like you could have a proper fight so stop acting all hard.

..............so the pre-arranged playing of the scratched copy of "YAWN" at every Liverpool home game does'nt count then?

<doh> Liverpool fans who say crap like this yet spend their time speaking and obsessing about Man Utd or conveniently ignoring other Liverpool fans doing it.

Tbf, very few of us do this, and we're not collectively responsible for what other posters choose to write. So don't put us all in the same box.

To be honest most Liverpool fans are dead on and enjoy a good banter. But some are obsessed about Man Utd more than Utd fans about Liverpool.

There is a few things that grind my gears.
1.Ray Wilkins. His punditry is like his playing style...slow and dull.
2.Sky making Gary Neville a co commentator...and making Alan Smith one wasn't bad enough, him and his Gaweth Bawwy and Wayne Wooney is annoying.
You can just picture it,''Now thats a disgraceful challenge by a liverpool player''.....when Spurs and Blackburn are on live.
3.Jamie Redknapp,Paul Merson and Charlie Nicholas...who get paid for stating the obvious.
4.How commentators cream over a Wayne Rooney tap in.
"Utd fans who slate the atmosphere at Anfield...'m guessing they haven't experienced the pre-arranged sing-a-long at Old Trafford."

..............so the pre-arranged playing of the scratched copy of "YAWN" at every Liverpool home game does'nt count then?
Only a small section of Man United fans know the words to ''Take me home United road''.It hasn't as of yet been translated into chinese.
Their other songs..well the ones that aren't about Liverpool are easy to learn...well there is just one and has one word...
    United
    United.
United.....Even David Beckham knows the words to that one.

Well, who's more obsessed than whom is another argument waiting to happen so I won't get into that.
The best part of team rivalry is the banter but it needs to be generally good-natured and funny otherwise it becomes a slanging match. I've made little contribution to the "banter" thread because it's mostly a slagfest unencumbered by any notions of wit or humour.

    It lacks wit and humour.
Theres a reason for that...it involves Man United fans. They don't know the meaning of either.

I'll give you an example of how Man United fans don't know what wit and humour is.They are also predictable and stupid.
In 2003 at Cardiff in the Carling Cup final whilst Liverpool fans provided humour and originality on their banners with stuff like ''Don't bomb Iraq-Nuke Manchester'' and this
    You can keep Veron
    You can keep Keane
    We've a superstar
    Our Number 17
    Stevie G.
    There was also this.
    Michael Owen...Weapon of Manc Destruction.
Man United fans had a St Georges Cross with MUFC written on it.Notice the difference.
Question, would Man United fans have been able to come up with something like this.....
    He put Nedved to bed
    He kept Eidur down
    Now Shevchenko can't sleep
    Cos Carra's in town.

They are so predictable and stupid and what proved it was their ''Rafa's cracking up'' banner in 2009.....Liverpool fans showed wit at the end of the game by sarcastically singing it.
