Watched Ip Man and Ip man 2 last night.

Both pretty **** and in no way biopics.

Second one was actually borderline racist against the supreme race.

Watched two headed shark, not as bad as Sharknado but pretty bad and the imposter, certainly makes you think that they did the poor lad by the way they embraced that Frog into their family!!

Moon's not a bad film at all. A good first effort for wee Zowie. I liked Prometheus I think I prefer it to the earlier ones actually. I thought it was Ridley Scott's best effort for quite a while. I'm dreading the supposed Blade Runner 2 though.

I watched Dead Man's Shoes last night. I hadn't watched it for a few years. I still think it's an amazing little film. In terms of revenge movies it's up there with Old BOy and Get Carter. Paddy Considine puts in a career defining performance in it. Great stuff although I wouldn't like to trip with Richard.

Dev Man's shoes doesn't quite have the same ring to it though.

Sadly I actually know people like that. Hard as nails and scared of no one, but just a wee tad utterly mental.

Lovely people when you are a friend but very quick to take your side - in a frightening manner - at even a hint of a stare from a stranger. Sociopaths.

Yeah I know a few too. I call it the Begbie syndrome. Irvine Welsh nailed that one pretty well.

A lot of the ones I know/knew were ex-squaddies. So saying a lot of my ex-army pals are complete peaceniks and would gladly give you their last hit of the bong. <laugh>

The other characters in the film are excellent too though. Sonny's a complete **** up.

I would not like to say which camp i'm in, i'm certainly not a sociopath but I was "gemme" in my youth. I thought I was invulnerable until I joined the Army and I met some real proper Hard Men who made some Glasgow Crims look like Charles Hawtrey.

It seemed like the ones who actually saw action were the calm ones. That makes sense though if you think about it. The other ones used to get really pished, make up false stories of places we knew they'd never been and then start a fight with complete strangers.

Give me a good old fashioned psychopath anyday at least you know where you stand with them<laugh>

Last weekend I watched oblivion: which was very enjoyable. I twigged the plot though.

Cloud atlas: do not watch this film. You will lose three hours of your life for absolutely no good reason. It's **** and confusing.

Watched Star Trek into darkness last night, loved it.

Also watched : Dark skies, brilliant and quite frightening.

Have Olympus has fallen and the new GI joe film for tonight.. <ok>

Stay tuned for my well written appraisals of them..

I watched Olympus Has Fallen last night, quite enjoyable in a retro Die Hard in the Whitehouse sort of way.

Watched Olympus has fallen last night.. Was a good watch, as you said just like the die hard films with more blood and death.
