Just watched this film called Sightseers it's by the guy who directed The kill list. It's about this oddball couple who go caravanning and start killing people. It's far better than it sounds.
I watched it ST and really enjoyed it. If my solitude were a fish I thought the song itself sounded a bit like A new rose by The Damned. Thanks for drawing it to my attention.
Aye, it's a bit out there but I like that. Watched The Good The Bad The Weird again at the weekend. Utter nonsense but entertaining none the less.
I like Kim Jee-Woons films although that one is kinda different from the rest. I agree it's mental, but highly entertaining. Have you seen his last one, "I saw the devil"? It's gory, but an excellent movie. It's got the guy out of "Old boy" in it.
No, I'll keep an eye out for it though. Will pop into Fopp at the weekend and buy a few DVDs (if the burd hasn't planned another bloody cycling trip!)
Watched El Infierno the other night. Or tried to. The ****ing subtitles were made my google translate it seemed. Never got the jist of the story, too much ****ing jibberish.
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy Watched it at the cinema when it first came out and rewatched it again last night. Still as good. What a cast.
Just watched Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai. Far too bollywood for my liking. Loads of ****ing dancing and singing at random moments. Same ****ing music track at every dramatic scene as well.
Parenthood - funny in parts but a bit too schmaltzy. The Innkeepers - got good reviews but a bit poor really.
Watched a Tom Cruise double bill the other night. Oblivion - Moderate, a wasted opportunity, ok I suppose. Jack Reacher. I'm a fan of the books and with Tom as the hero I was not overly confident he could carry this role off but I was pleasantly surprised, I loved this movie. Cracking dialogue and just enough violence to keep the interest of a casual viewer who likes that sort of thing. If like me you are a fan of the Film Noir detective movies with Bogey, or Lone Wolf dramas, this will be right up your alley. Watch it and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
