    Nothing wrong with unlimited salad and a defrosted burger for six quid

    HIAG would have had them passing salad under the table.

    ... the Vale of Belvoir is very nice ... it's also pronounced 'beaver' which is an added bonus ... not many Ugandans but some cracking beaver ..

  4. Indeed. They need to have been following the thread in which IQ went into full meltdown mode after being "accused" of being a Ugandan.

    I don't know why it tickles me as much as it does. It probably has something to do with the fact that it is, by far and away, the most bizarre reason anyone has gone into meltdown.

  5. The family avoided the Harvester, tonight, Stan. However, I did treat them to a slap up late Sunday roast at the local gastro pub. It's won awards, you know.

    I think most of those words are in the wrong order. At least I hope they are.

  7. That's the beauty of what I write, Stan. Often, there are so many different narratives.

    Or in this instance one. You beat your parents before you roast them late on a Sunday.

    It is hilarious that every February/March Arsenal lose 3 games in a row and go out of the CL, their title challenge disappears... only thing so far is that they haven't gone out of the FA Cup. Normally it's 3 comps in the space of a week.

    You can pretty much set your calendar by it

    Or you can set your calendar to us winning the cup, seeing as we won it 2 years on the trot now.

    No need to set your calendar for Liverpool though, ;-), nothing ever happens there. :D.

  20. Hey, 87! I saw your posts on the Gooners' board where you and Sanj call Pixie out on his continued support for Wenger, and that post where he finally concedes that it's time for Wenger to go.
    <ok>

    Well done, mate! You finally got Pixie to accept that you were right all along.

    Let's hope that your good work pays off and Wenger gets his marching orders. We'll do our best at the weekend to ensure that he gets an early send off, by smashing as many as we can past your reserve goalie. Okay, pal?

    And, once again, well done on a good night's work on your board.
