There should be a ban on our greats growing old and grey and suffering illnesses like poor old Stan is having to endure.

Heavy football's when there is increasing evidence that continual heading of the ball is causing brain damage and alzeimers
    I don't think so.

Offside. At the least I'd like to see a trial at high level without it. Causes too many stoppages in the play.

Why? Alternatively, be careful what you wish for.

I'd love to see a return to a simple and easily interpreted version of offside - the current version seems to be subject to 'discussion' too often

Open market in football transfers. The one really good idea to come from America is their college draft system. Evens things up and ensures the big boys cannot maintain their position in the limelight forever. If anyone needs convincing go back 20 years before Avramovitch and the Sheiks who bought into Man City. That wealth turned very very ordinary clubs into elite ones. It is a corrupting influence because the cartel of wealthy owners then squeeze every body else and hold us all to ransom so that we can watch Arsenal get thrashed by Bayern every year and Barca piss all over Citeh every year.

    Some obvious ones like.................

    1 Steve Claridge
2 Owners who put together a consortium they then head up but don't put any of their own money into a club and/or take its assets such as the ground for themselves.
3 A football league that actually employs due diligence when applying a fit and proper person test for ownership
4 So-called passionate noisy loyal fans who disappear faster thean water down a plug hole when their team hits the buffers and/or call for the manager to be sacked when they fail to win in two consecutive games. Actually scrub the last one. That applies to us as much as any other fan base.

Certainly. You're a proud Englishman and will be familiar therefore with tea pots and kettles. So do we ban your fellow countrymen as well? Presumably you **** also. You can't ban them just because they prepared their ambush and learned the lessons taught to the rest of the world by our brave lads who as usual wanted a skinful of beer inside them first.
