My money is on some horrific error by China or another aggresive force in the region, believing it to be a threat I reckon they've blown the thing out of the sky and everyone knows the political sensitivities that exist in the region so they've put a lid on it. Some bullshit story will be come out about the co-pilot being a wrong 'un and put it down as hijack/suicide....
