You reap what you sow and cardiff went for the first guy that showed any interest in them and its a shame he knew nothing about how football clubs work. The debt at the club has risen every season he has been in charge and that is because he and his Asian fellow directors don't understand the game...The debt will be well over £200m in a very short time but this is where tan is clever...It is not his debt its cardiffs and tan can just walk away either even or a few million short...He has cardiff by the Bollocks good and proper and he knows it....

I agree at least in part, Daiswan. Despite promises to convert loans to equity I understand he's only partially done that so in essence you're right. He has them by the bollocks and I couldn't have put it better myself.

Could be that Tan is using Cardiff as a loss making tax avoidance scheme (a la Gary Barlow). He's £150m+ down already thus tax deductable as he is worth less (hard not to omit the space there), also Cardiff is a loss making entity in it's own right (owes £150m+) so tax deductable there too. Clever man.

Well i compare it to the same scenario in the Movie Goodfellas, they buy into the restaurant buisness to help the owner out but then run credit up on the buisness account by buying alcohol and everything else at buisness rate and selling it off on the street and when the credit is maxed out they bankrupt the buisness but pull an insurence job on the property by setting the place on fire and burning it down.

I think your not a million miles away from Tan at Cardiff, though i admit i dont know who could play Tan, maybe joe Pescie ?? ...<laugh>

Proved my point on this thread Drags - you haven't got an argument for debate. You wont answer questions about alternative scenarios surrounding Tan and Malky preferring to turn personal and push your opinions as fact - bloody laughable.

Hopeless debater reliant on others on here to feed your ego. I'll leave you amongst your "friends" for succur on this site happy in the knowledge that you know nothing about what you're talking.

One last thing before signing off. You rightly say it's the Championship for us and the Premier league for next season, but I'll wager you one thing and it's nothing to do with sour grapes.

I'll bet you we enjoy our football next season a lot more than you. We can compare notes then. <ok>

Dai, yes Cardiff have debts - they comprise, in the main, monies lent by Tan to Cardiff. The debts "disappear" or reduce by Tan converting all or part of his loans into equity (shares).

My view on the Tan, Malky thing is thie. Wasnt he in a position of not being able to take another job while the claim was ongoing. He has obviously got another job lined up at a club. So he agrees to what Tan wants, gets his pay off, whatever it may be and now he is free to become manager of a well run club. Maybe Norwich.

I'm sure you will enjoy it more,Spark.

All that debt still hanging around your neck.

Championship football, which I am a fan of,to look forward to.

Not knowing whether Tan will stay or go.

Uncertainty, uncertainty, and probably a bit more uncertainty.

    Yes,I see what you mean.

You've said it all guys with hardly a need for repost. <applause>

But do you think he actually meant it when he said he was signing off? If not, I think you meant "succour" my old flower. Old age doesn't come alone so they say. You take it easy now. <ok>

[Edit: I still love you, babes]

I've tried to enjoy Cardiff's relegation from the Premier....
the fact they got smashed 3-0 and 4-0 in their "must win" games in the North East....
their official embarrassing search for excuses (Sunderland points docking and Palace text gate bollocks)...
Their purchase of Mold reserves in a desperate attempt to stay up....
Their swapping of Odemwingie for Kenwynne Jones....
    Their sacking of Mackay....
The ridiculously expensive purchase and then sale (before giving him a decent go) of Cornelius....
Their ridicule of Bony blowing up in their faces....
The 3-0 arse ****ing at the Liberty....
Their massive transfer spend that they couldn't afford in Premier Season 1 (and only)....
    Their £150m of debt...
Their change of colour, badge and symbol in their desperation to whore their arses out to anyone prepared to try and give them what we had....
    Their arse licking of Tan....
The presenters on MOTD struggling to keep the smirk off their faces when asked if a team that can't string 2 passes together could possibly stay up....
The weekly straw clutching from the likes of OldSparkey...
    Their fans fighting amongst themselves...
    Etc. etc. and etc.

...but I just can't bring myself to even smile about it.
You see their most recent humiliation is NOT ENOUGH for me to allow myself a smirk. These ****ers need to be playing in at least League 1 before I can raise a smile ...I'll allow myself a chuckle only when they are non league....but I'll only be truly happy when the game is up and they are finally put out of their misery.
Administration is too good for these ****ers, I'm talking about shut down.
Until that day I won't be joining in with the piss taking :)
    Na-night Sparks and co.

I wouldn't have bothered to return to this gripping thread other than to say is that the best you can offer? Spelling police are so last year dear, and the fact that you're wrong and both versions apply is just hysterical. Check it out Einstein, and I'll accept your apology any time. <ok>

Sprucie - everyone is boring pal when you haven't got an argument to the point they're making - it just doesn't suit the piss-taking thread that's evolved. Have a good summer. <ok>

VETCH - I was referring to enjoyment of football based upon the division in which you play. Perhaps you'll understand my reasoning if I say his season has been far from that for us playing out of our depth in the Premier League.

Though you lot have stayed up comfortably, I suspect many on this board have not "enjoyed" many a game, but ultimately you saw it through and got a comfortable table position which is really all that matters. Hence, the bragging rights you rightly deserve, though I also suspect it's also tinged with some relief at the end of the season after some worrying times.

Next season, I see more prospects for the said "enjoyment" for us at Championship level (that's all we deserve right now), whereas you might not get the same final outcome as this year and suffer as fans. Only a thought, and I wish you guys the best for next year in a division we couldn't hack this season.

I will leave this thread and board for now - can't say it always been pleasant, but as you rightly say, we are in different divisions as of last Sunday, so the fortunes of each club on the pitch has no influence whatsoever on the other table wise.

Only saw this this morning Terror - "Na-night Sparks and co." - so I'll wish you a very good morning instead. You've always made your position about us perfectly clear on here, and you post last night was no different fair play.

Cheers for now guys - even you DB - enjoy the Prem. <ok>

That's right old spark you have no argument.

Doesn't matter where we finish we have built a legacy that will last many years, state of the art training and medical facilities new academy etc,etc .

That's the prize the premier league offers, it is a prize of establishing your club and building fou rations that will be there for many years.

Some people put proper foundations in and some just people build on sand , even now there are some of you guys thinking about Terry mattews coming in to save the day or getting the next billionaire , it's just sheer and total madness

The fact is that 90% of you didn't have the balls or the stomach to fight for your club so you deserve all the pain you're due .

A true representation of what is wrong in the world,it's always somebody else's fault and never your own.

Spineless support has got you in a right pickle my dear ;)

**** me this guy doesn't know when to lie down.

Oldsparkey, I'm guessing you won't be able to resist a peek back here because you can't help yourself and if you don't respond it'll be because you have no answers. Norway was right when he said you're coming across as a rather bitter individual despite your protestations to the contrary. You're just trying that little bit too hard, mate.

You've been ****ed over by numerous posters here because of your constant and rather risible clutching at straws over your relegation and your incessant jibes that we are only speculating about Tan when much of it is actually perfectly true. You have specifically said this in relation to my post earlier when you said I was "pushing my opinions as fact" and that this was "bloody laughable" when I was making the point is that he's a corrupt Asian businessman, albeit a successful one.

So let's be clear. Are you saying Tan was NOT corruptly given the Malaysian lottery when everyone was expecting it to go out to tender? I don't want you to go now because I really want to know your answer. You're quick to threaten bans on your board when any outsider criticises this dirty tycoon but this is OUR board where we are free to say what we like and I await your take on it. No doubt you'll still be sticking your fingers in your ears as you lick his ass again as you frequently do on your board (what an image that is!) <laugh>

Oh, and lastly, no apology from me on your incorrect spelling of 'succour'. There are two versions: One is the U.S 'succor' and the other is the British 'succour'. Yours was 'succur' which is definitely incorrect, but you keep sticking those fingers in your ears, bud. <laugh> Sure, it's only spelling, but doesn't it just highlight your arrogance when you can't even accept you were wrong - to be honest I actually think you're incapable.

You have a lovely season with your "enjoyable" football against the likes of Bournemouth and Huddersfield whilst we get another year of worldwide exposure against the big guys. <ok>
