all ballz.... tuesday if to be believed. he'd better stay for preseason cos he's already late for his training.... i predict nothing to happen by tuesday.... just to be awkward about it.
if we believe the rumours then we've "agreed a deal" for Mikhitaryan more times than Chelsea change managers
Depends on who you believe, but usually as soon as one Journo runs a story, they all run it. Doesn't necessarily mean that all the sources are saying the same thing, just that they're copying eachother. There are a few people who say that there isn't an agreement between the clubs and it's just his agent whoring him out again to drum up interest and find the best deal - force clubs like Dortmund into making an improved bid. I wouldn't be surprised if we stepped away from Mkhitaryan tbh at this rate and moved onto another target. Eriksen's not moved anywhere yet, we might have another set of talks with his agents/club.
Liverpool target Henrikh Mkhitaryan warned Reds aren't exactly Real Madrid by his current manager Source:http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...l-transfers-henrikh-mkhitaryan-warned-2016987
Looking at his highlight reel from last year a lot of his goals can be attributed to bad defenses/keepers, however there are some good finishes in there as well. Definitely seems to play in a very advanced midfield/attacker role similar to Suarez. I think he will require time to settle in the PL and will have to work hard to adapt to the higher standard, could be a risk at 25m. I think we should be looking at higuain hes more what we need if suarez goes.
Problem is that Higuain is going to want CL football. With a world cup next summer all the top drawer players want to be in the shop window for their international managers and whatever the Talkshite/Sky PR bull says thats the CL, not the EPL.
Well todays the day do we get the guy or not? I think higuin is quality and needs a move and i really hope the arsenal link is balls. I do think if the money is right they come and some guys like higuin might be more than comfortable with thier international status too... who knows. paulinho has gone to spurs so thats a big blow to us. if they get villa it'll be quite a little side they have going.
Yeah, it is. All that spending and with a tiny ground and limited commercial income, they're going to have to sell - Bale to Real to balance the books. That should **** them up nicely, especially if Real can come up with their usual trick of unsettling the player before a 31st August swoop to completely bugger the possibility of buying a replacement. Of course, we can look at that prospect too...
Henrikh Mkhitaryan: Liverpool target set for Borussia Dortmund Liverpool have lost out on one of their major transfer targets after Shakhtar Donetsk's Henrikh Mkhitaryan agreed a £21.5m move to Borussia Dortmund. Manager Brendan Rodgers identified the 24-year-old forward as a top priority. But the Reds were told on Friday that the Ukrainian side had done a deal with the Champions League finalists. Liverpool were happy to meet the asking price for Mkhitaryan but it is believed they never got the chance to hold talks with the highly rated Armenian. Rodgers had hoped to add Mkhitaryan to summer signings Kolo Toure from Manchester City, Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas and Sevilla's Luis Alberto.
