    Used to work with a Sunderland fan who's now moved on to bigger and better things, but being the only two north easterners in our team we often shared lifts for long distance meetings and talked footie most of the way. End of the day it is only football and those of us who work, travel and live sensible lives will always get on with rival fans, its only the scummy kids who'll never leave their council estates who start the bother that happens to away fans at both ends when they travel.

    And looking at both fans boards on a home matchday we've both got plenty watching on online streams, some people just can't afford to go to games. If I had any common sense I'd do the same, I pretty much can't afford to keep my season ticket going but I'm just not willing to give up my seat, its ace...

    The Rivalry between the two clubs is fantastic! It's the most underrated derby in the world I'd say. Its not in the "Top Derbies" very often. Better than any of the London derbies.

    I wouldnt say I like it, but I admire Sunderlands owners, who seem to have the fans at heart
