I imagine Hughton will be analysing Villa's weakness to set-peices which is also one of our strengths.
That is very funny, but also quite sad, as I don't think he knows what one is!! This week I've sent him photo's of Holt, Kamara, Jackson & Becchio, with a note saying these are forwards, then I realised that I'd have to send him another note informing him what a forward is and then another to tell him which way it is! Then I realised that this might confuse him as it depends on which way you're facing at the time! In the end I just said to save any confusion just call them all defenders and play all the team in our own penalty area, that will save us from relegation and stop all this forward nonsense. After all who want's to see teams playing in the opposition half of the field? I watched a team of young lads doing that last night, Phew, just couldn't understand what they were up to, and to cap it all one of the silly young buggers put the ball in the goal thing!!!! Now why would a Norwich City player do that????
Everyday since the Stoke "game" I have been sending Hughton jigsaw shaped postcards with pictures of a goal on and also jigsaw shaped pictures of our strikers I have cut the jigsaws out so Holts picture is a perfect fit to the goal etc etc.... I am hoping that this will help Hughton to associate our strikers with scoring goals and he will then play them further forward than the halfway line. Fingers crossed.
maybe send holt a picture of the penalty area in relation to the goal, and suggest he doesn't leave that area. then give the wide men a picture of the by-line, and tell them to head towards it and cross the ball into Holt we could go on
And boy could McGeehan teach our first team players how to strike a penalty!!!! Wonder if we could adapt the 'American Football' rules and bring on a speciality penalty taker, in the same way they bring on a speciality goal kicker???
That boy was so cool it was unbelievable, he had to wait a fair while before taking it but kept his head and smashed it in! I really enjoyed that game, one of the most exciting at Carrow Road so far this season!! What a turn out as well, no doubt that City fans support their club!!
Sorry mate, couldn't resist! What a crowd indeed. There are three Premier League teams with a lower average crowd than that! What an experience for the lads.
