We'll have to be quick, Millwall have already bid to keep him permanently, but we could probably get him for less than £1m(his contract's up in the summer).
I saw Wood play for New Zealand against Egypt in the Olympic Games at Old Trafford and I was very impressed with him. He's an old fashioned centre forward in the Kevin Davies mold. He's doing really well at Meeewaw. A cheaper option might be Craig Davies, he is definitely a product that is ready for use. Scored a lot of goals for a struggling side and the fact Barnsleh are constantly out of cash I reckon we could get him for much less than Wood.
I expect Davies will be sold in January, he's also out of contract in the summer, but there's likely to be a few clubs in the running.
Myhill was in goal for the last three games, against Chelsea, Wigan and Southampton and they won them all, I'd be amazed of he doesn't get offered a new deal.
The only reason i mentioned chris wood is when we played Birmingham last season at the KC he played alongside Marlon King and the pair looked a right hand full so from that day on i always looked in the papers to see how he played and he got really good reviews, Chris Hughton took him on loan i think from West Brom and then tried to extend it but either West brom would not or it was down to finances. At the time i came on here and sugested Nick Barmby go in for him, it never happened but then this season he has gone out to Millwall, They were struggling in fact when they played us i thought they looked like a relegation team but Kenny Jacket brought Wood in and since he has scored 7 times in there last 6 matches. They have now asked West Brom to loan him until January. I know Steve Clarke West Broms manager has said if Millwall want to sign him he will cost a lot of money because he is a very good player who will score a lot of goals in the championship, He is big holds the ball up well, very strong and quite pacey. Just a thought but keep an eye on him
He won't cost a lot of money, he's out of contract in the summer and the Baggies are rumoured to be looking for about £1m for him(and Millwall have said they will be bidding in Jan).
Hasn't Foster been injured? I know Bo had a decent game on Saturday, but it seems like Foster will always be the number 1 if fit. The Deano article on Saturday in the HDM said Bo didn't want to leave and yes he'll sign if it's decent money, but does he want to be on the bench more often than not? I suppose it depends where his priorities lie regards playing football, playing for Wales, where he wants to live etc.
