Yeah of course but let's trust the players to get on with it as they have earnt that over the last three games. Nervous fans translates onto the pitch and makes things worse. I get as frustrated as anyone but I'm not nervous after what i've soon post 20 minutes in to City game. Watford's answered most of this already. I'm hoping Reading can pacify those nervous fans and hopefully kick on against West Ham

At the moment defensive wise Hughes has his hands tied regarding selection but i would definitely keep the same midfield and attack that started against spurs. I hope adel if fit can get some time against reading though.

Mmm....I think our plans to play a strong side against Reading have been scuppered by all the injuries. I think it will be quite a weak side now and probably won't tell us much.
I'm happy to trust the players to get on with it, but that won't stop me giving my opinion on what is going on.

Well at least that would give us Hoilett on the pitch....but I can't agree with SWP starting ahead of Taarabt, if he's fit, at home against West Ham!! Crazy!!

Would love to see Taarabt start ahead of SWP, he will at least create things and probably scare the pants of some weak defenders.

The longer he is left out of matches, the more his confidence will drop..........we've seen what happens to his confidence. Mark Hughes should give him a few games inter-changing with SWP or Mackie if he is ineffective. Given the talent of Taarabt (strops aside) we know he is one player that can be the key link between our strong midfield and the front men. Don't you agree?

You know you're leaning against an open door with me where Taarabt is concerned mate. Also, a West Ham fan was on here earlier saying that their full backs are their weak link. Stick Taarabt against one of them and let the torment begin!!

I don't think we're a minority Col. Creativity oozes off the boot of Taarabt. At the moment, we are relying on Ale to provide the creativity. Maybe the R's faithful should start calling for Taarabt to come on against Wammers as I can't see MH giving him a starting role.

    KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON!

The above is another olden days phrase. To the youngsters on here it is not a contempory phrase that exists for T-Shirts, posters, bags and mugs etc. It was introduced by the Ministry of Information during World War Two, to boost morale for the testing times ahead. Like rangercols 'Point's make prizes' tagline it is still very apt for us Rangers fans today.

If your like me.... and after reading through all the excellent posts on here in recent weeks.... I think most of you are, then it may feel like we're developing a Jekyll and Hyde personality in all things pertaining to our QPR. We have a good squad at last...we tell ourselves... we are starting to play good football, the support is fantastic and the team are getting to know each other. Brilliant!

But then Mr Hyde... despite what the above evidence tells us... begins to rear his ugly head. But we haven't had a win yet, we're getting too many injuries. What if we don't beat West Ham, what if we're in the bottom three at christmas etc etc.

I find myself doing it constantly, every waking hour and sometimes even in my dreams.

I never used to have this problem. It has only started since I have began using BBC606 and this forum. That's because in the olden days, I used to get pissed off after a defeat way back when. It maybe lasted a day or two, after reading the papers and then I went to work and forgot about it until I went to the next game.

Because of the internet we can now access all things QPR related 24/7, and get the latest breaking news in milli-seconds. It is turning us into mad men, when things aren't going to plan. But when times become good you can't get enough of it, come on here after a win. It's fantastic! Sharing the joy with your fellow Rs, that was not something you used to be able to do with the Mrs before this site came along. She just didn't understand the QPR fixation.

But you lot do. I understand all of the frustrations and the fear. We all do, together, in one way or another. Let's all Keep Calm And Carry On, we're Rangers. It's what we do, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

I love it and I can't wait until we play Reading on Wadnesday night under the lights. Unless we lose. :emoticon-0120-doh:

Good post nines. I'm in no way panicking mate. Just showing concerns............especially when some people are getting so carried away by our recent performances. Yes....we're playing better and yes.......we look a good side. But.............DT is banging on about Europe again and we haven't won a game yet!! Realism is just as required as keeping calm imho.

I take your point about Granero, Peter, but he did pick up a Yellow at Tottenham in around the 53rd minute, I just double checked. I was scared the rest of the half he was going to see another, and get Red - one time he was very close, and may have gone if the Ref hadn't remembered the first yellow. The referees aren't that blind that his professional fouls are going to go unnoticed.

I don't think they got caught up field much together until near the end, when they were no doubt knakkered, and at the same time we needed an equaliser. What both Granero and Ale lack is real speed, which is why I really would like to see Diakite back and supporting them in the tougher games. When fit he has the speed and composure to be a great DCM - otherwise (if we have other good enough CB's ???) DCM is M'bia's original, and I heard best position, and hopefully he could do a job there.

I said it before Col, but if Cisse and Adel can show some form and fitness against Reading, or in training, both should play against the Hammers - replacing both SWP and Park. Likely as not it will not be enough with just Adel, we need as well the speed and goal scoring threat Cisse has in him. I am at a total loss to see what Park brings us offensively in wide positions, I've seen very little yet from him going forward. SWP is not much better, but does have speed which draws defenders in, even if nothing comes of it. These 2 are for me back up in central midfield positions only now, they are good defensively, work really hard I know, but especially Park, are contributing next to nothing going forward. They are the main reasons that while we have played well midfield last 2 games, dominated for 60/70 minutes against Spurs, we have created so few chances - get them out of our attacking cutting end Mr Hughes.

I definetely think over the last 5 years we as QPR fans have become more spoilt or expectant when it comes to QPR and the results we expect; whether this is because of the higher prices we pay for season tickets now or the massive amount of players we have signed in the last 2/3 years im not sure.

If you had said to me 3-4 years ago that we would be dissapointed at not picking up more than 1 point at Man City, Tottenham and Chelsea then i'd of laughed.

As it stands Liverpool are in the relegation spots.....will they finish there?? Not a chance......last season even Arsenal were down in the depths of the league and look where they finished.

We started poorly....no doubt and that was down to simply being to many new players who havent played with each other before, things are changing and we are now looking like a very formidable side.....unfortunetely this turn in our performances have been met with playing 3 of the best teams in the league, to which we could have easily got 6 points from both Chelsea and Tottenham...but it wasnt to be.

No games in this league are easy....so saying 3 points is a given from West Ham would be foolish, even if we are a better side than them.

1 thing I do know is 1 win and that will catpult our season.....the fans will be relieved, the players will be relieved and we can build on it.

Points do make prizes and we will get plenty this season......M'Bia is back now, Diakite is back, Tarrabt is back so we have a good squad.

Lets beat Reading in the cup.....beat Wet Spam next Monday and next week we will all be a lot happier!

    Don't get me wrong Col
You only earn a ace in Europe if you get the points ... I stand however on the fact that we have already matched the very teams that are expected to win such honours ... Of course they have the points we don't but to moan about not having them is in no way production it's just factual .
We must be optimistic as we have easily the best team for years
We can't field a weak side
Five days ago only I would of picked Dyer the rest of you thought he was a waste of a squad number

He's not he has more talent than we could of wished for . He done well against the best left sided player in the world possibly .. My point is we can't field a weak side at the moment

There will be some strange results this season but we are growing in form

    Just simply support the team
In fact as 9 says keep calm and carry on .... It won't be long until we will be feared and people will be expecting us to win more games that we lose

Anyone think we haven't moved forward quick enough as a club?
It's long term ... I do not think we will be relegated and I believe that once we start we will win many games of football ... In fact enough to make us finish very high in the league which will be a big surprise I hope then we see people becoming calm and settled

    Ride this wave

5 Days ago before Spurs, I sugested Dyer too - at LB as replacement for the injured Flavio and Traore, but that was because I thouight Bosingwa was better staying RB and causing fewer changes in the line up. I read Dyer has worked really hard warming his muscles an hour before normal training started to better protect his muscles, and has worked really hard since he joined our Club, so have always really hoped he would play for us more than that 3 minutes, whatever claims have been made about how much he was earning for doing nothing. Think he is a really good player and really hope his fitness holds the season now - he deserves it fully, and we need him!

I have always backed Dyer too as it happens. Always rated him.
I get a bit annoyed when people misrepresent what I'm saying. Peter Damage did it yesterday and now you're saying that I'm moaning. I'm not moaning, I'm trying to put forward a constructive view point, whilst being a little concerned that the players will start to feel the pressure if we don't get a win soon! You'll see some moaning though if MH continues to pick SWP ahead of Taarabt once the latter is fit!!
