    Talking of bass players I was a big fan of Jack Bruce. Of current bassists I like Tal Wilkenfeld.

    I was never a huge fan of Yes, but was always amazed at the ability of their bass guitarist to play such syncopated bass lines while singing complex close harmonies.

    YES are marmite. Agree lyrics crap. Musicianship you cannot argue with. Love it or hate it, Jon Andersons voice is unique, and so is he lol. Rick Wakeman once said: Jon is the only person I know that want's to save the planet whilst living on another one. It's hard work listening to YES, but sometimes I just need that fix.

    Squires, yep he's fluid.

    There will be plenty of better I’m sure , but for me , I love Flea , he is the Chillies , also love Larry Graham , been fortunate to see both play live..
