Problem is Cologne now you have let the cat out the bag and have all the money in the game its going to be hard to persuade all involved to put the cat back in the bag! I cant see the moneymen allowing it to happen!

7 sub rule should come back along with video refereeing. The rule where if you field a weakened side, you get fined is stupid as a manager can field who he wants if they're eligible, but i think they have stopped that rule this season.

Surprised no one has mentioned the idiocy of a player who's just been sythed down by an opponent having to go off the pitch, only coming on when the ref waves him back having re-started the game. If there's an accidental coming together of players, say Tiny and Mariappa clash heads while clearing the ball for a corner we would be without our centre backs for the resulting corner. I mean why? What muppet in a suit thought the best way of detering play acting was to make all injured players go off as opposed to say, legitimately adding the 3 minutes they spend on the deck.

Oh and bring back the 7 sub rule for sure. Another muppet in a suit change.

The one that really annoys me is that a straight red card can be rescinded upon review after a game but if a player gets two yellows it can't. Always struck me as ludicrous.

Si, the muppets in the suits for your first one are Sepp Blatter and his cronies in the IFAB (on which all 4 Home Nations have a representative) and the second one is whoever at the Football League makes these decisions for their competitions - although that is unfair on The Muppets!
