What chance of Nicky Maynard extending his contract?

    I'd be very concerned if we gave him a good run in the first team on the final year of his contract. If he's not going to sign by the start of the season then as far as I'm concerned he's on the transfer list, or preferably an exchange plus cash for a good Premier League player.

    Why would you not play him? You're paying him.

    He will need to find good form to interest any clubs that might be sniffing.

    If we start to do well and are looking good he may sign again

    We aint gonna get a lot back so may as well use his ability for a year.

    This is all assuming he has not gone before the seasons start!

    The cliche " a week is a long time in football" is also very true!

    will he sign or will he go ..sounds like the word from that song, lets hope if he goes it wont be for one
