isnt the fact we have lost carroll, but the circumstances.
i just hope we hear the full truth on this, because if newcastle chose to sell him (he didnt want to leave) i cant see any future success for us- how will we build a good side?
however if andy wanted to leave, i dont blame the club for taking this ridiculous offer.
i do fear andy may have been forced out, which for me crushes any hope that we are actually on the up.
i hope carroll is a greedy money grabber, and wanted the move - we dont need them kind of players.

if we are serious about becoming successful, ASHLEY MUST INVEST THIS MONEY.
hopefully bring in a few faces tonight (mainly a forward), but i would like to see the majority of it spent in the summer.

BBC Sport's Dan Walker on Twitter: "Tottenham came close to nicking Andy Carroll off Liverpool, but the striker wanted to join Liverpool as soon as it became clear that Newcastle would sell him."

that last bit again " as soon as it became clear that Newcastle would sell him."

I can never trust the person who has repeatedly lied to the fans

yeah
something on twitter to keep spurs fans on side

we have been there before with rumours

especially when you are within touching distance of top 4
