One of my oldest mates Birthday on Saturday so I doubt it. I'm in contact with the person that reports for Sutton so can always get press pass tickets when I can make it.
I'd definitely come, really think Sutton will pull it off this year but anyway don't want to go further off topic so I'll leave that till April
Blimey! I thought you were banned from this board! Being as you have absolutely nothing constructive, ever, to say about Spurs. Still, nice to know that you are still following me, despite orchestrating my banning from your board. It's touching.
I'm beginning to think there is someone at the camel stadium selling dolls of you Hiag together with needles!!!!?
Chas and Dave on Top of the Pops. I was about 6 or 7 and it's what made me support Spurs! First game I really remember watching was the 87 cup final. Had to watch it at my grandma's on the telly and she told me off for jumping on the chair and getting excited. First live game was the friendly against Monaco just after Hoddle left. We got trounced 4-0 - the start of a life-long curse of seeing Spurs live (still never seen them win at WHL). Jonny Metgod was our best player that night but Mark Hately was on fire for Monaco. I do not remember a single thing about Hoddle's performance or if he even played.
February 1998, I was 10. A rubbish 1-1 draw with Leicester at WHL which put my non-footballing parents off taking me to Spurs ever again
I have many, many memories over the years. The crowds, the crunch of treading on thousands of Percy Dalton peanut shells as you left. The entrance for kids was 1s 6d . I suppose my main memory was being there the night we beat Sheffield Weds 2-1 to win the league title - the first leg of the famous double. I got a belting from my old man as he'd forbidden me to go as I had school the next day. Another great memory would be Jimmy Greaves' hat trick in his first game for us - onrpe a spectacular overhead kick straight into the goal we were standing behind!...
