The Get Down, another Netflix original and surprisingly liking it with some good hip-hop music.

Designated Survivor (also on Netflix) A low-level Cabinet member Tom Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland) becomes President of the United States after a catastrophic attack kills everyone above him in the Presidential line of succession.

Frequency (again Netflix lol) A female police detective's life becomes utter termoil after discovering the life altering abilities of her dead father's old ham radio. It's a remake of the 2000 film.

I'll definitely avoid that then, Hip hop, RnB, grime! You may as well have a farty poo in my ear!

Caught up on Peaky blinders now, would say the 3rd series was the weakest of the 3, hopefully wil pick up again in the 4th.

Will give the "grand tour" a go when that starts up in a month. Though I'm not sure if they will be able to breath too much new life into it with a change of channel and more money? One things for sure, it'll look good after the Chris Evans demolishion of top gear!

I'm also persisting with Poldark, though I am getting increasingly bored with it. It's just so bloomin miserable so much of the time! Did any one see the Tutankhamun thing the other night? Any good?

I watched the SAS jungle thingy last night, it was good again, if you liked the first series then this looks like more of the same but ramped up a notch in toughness because of the jungle setting. Whilst my fitness wouldn't come close to being eligable to taking part in such a test, it amased me at how quickly some of them broke considering that they would have been building up to it for some time.

    Bah!

Not usually my type of music but it's not too bad, maybe because it's set in the 70s and it was better back then.

Power Season 3 was very entertaining.

Half way through watching Peaky Blinders Series 3, and has been very interesting.

Going to watch Black Mirror Series 3 next! Looking forward to it's return. That shows messed up!

Watched the first episode and thought it was pretty good, it showed peoples obsession of social media and getting likes perfectly, which is what I like about Charlie Brooker, it may look over the top and weird but he's actually not too far off.

I don't know if I can motivate myself to watch "The Get Down", but DS I really want to see. Frequency I might watch, but sounds a little stupid. What's your /10 rating for the 3?

The Get Down is only 6 episodes and it does have the annoying Jaden Smith who I hate, but overall I enjoyed it. 7/10

It's hard to rate the other 2 because there's new episodes every Thursday, but Frequency so far I'm enjoying it but then I like anything to do with time travel and the butterfly effect. Designated Survivor is really good though.

Watched 4 episodes of Black Mirror now and all I can say it's been phenomenal, the 3rd episode is my favourite so far. Charlie Brooker is one of the best writers around at the moment.

went to the cinema for Inferno on Saturday. It wasn't great which I guess I was kinda expecting following mixed reviews from others I know who'd seen it. That and to be honest both adaptions of Dan Browns other books had disappointed too. My other half even managed to get a kip in!

    Bah!

I like Charlie Brooker, yet somehow this passed me by. Was it on terrestrial TV?

Starting from the beginning now on Neflix. Just watched the first episode and really liked it. (Cameronesque porker incident <laugh>). Cracked me up. <ok>

I like it when that happens.

Old Welly (where the hell is he by the way?) put me on to Breaking Bad. It had already been airing for a few years, and I was so hooked, I was watching several episodes a night to catch up! Wonderful! (This from someone who usually prefers reading <yikes>)

I was obsessed with BB. I think I discovered it when it had aired 2 Seasons. Watched Season 1 and 2 in about a week or 2. Then each Season that was released I ran through same as you. About 2 or 3 Episodes a night.

I love Black Mirror. Intelligent, Dark, twisted and gripping satire.

Hope they sort out my Internet soon, I'll rip through the remaining episodes of Season 3.
