Chicken and stuffing sandwich slices in a sarnie. Simple, but effective.

They are equal to the best, no bloomin difference! As a Norwich fan I thought it was obvious that the best is not an absolute prerequisit to my choices.

    Bah!

Just put my dinner in the oven on a medium heat, chicken breast strips rolled in back bacon, Jersey new potatoes sprinkled all over with mature blue stilton braising in oxo gravy!

So you're happy to settle for just 'bang average'?
At least Alex Neil is playing you along, repeatedly selecting Whittaker and Naismith <laugh>

No way, José, way, way too early for me to consider serious scoffage.

Looks like every thread on the Norwich board is turning into a Naismith hate fest! :(

    Cheat meal tonight.

Korean Fire Noodles with Morrisions Southern fried Chicken Goujons.

I've only had those Noodles once before. They are so hot, it was a Youtube challenge craze for a while. They are one of the hottest things I've eaten. Both myself and the gf finished them. Although she was drinking milk with every mouthful. I did it raw because I thought that cooling your mouth down each time would hurt more....We both struggled for a few hours afterwards.

    So tasty though!

Where did you get the fire noodles from? I'd like to give them a go. I've been eating these ones for a while and they have a nice hot, spicy hit not unlike a tom yum thai soup. Worth a go and definitely better than those dreadful bachelors potnoodle crud!

I guess to an extent yes, never quite had the go get to say otherwise, bit too laid back really. I'm sure it's quite lovely to have a ferrari, but my hyundai gets me from A to B nearly as quicklygiven speed limits and doesn't drink fuel by the truck load and cost the earth on insurance.
With food I guess it's the same some of the time, I like the finer things, like the chip inn long stratton but have them in moderation. Where there is little difference between a value product and a branded product, I'm not likely to pay extra for a smarter or more trendy bit of packaging.
Something as emotive as Football I chose to support my local team, that my dad also supported, certainly not because they were anything other than bang average, doesn't stop me wanting better for them and for them to rise above the current level. I think our current state as a club is not necessarily bang average, we are doing rather well, at least under the current ownership being a yoyo club is likely as good as it gets. I do think with better running and recruiting even under the current financial restrictions we could and should have stayed up last season, and then we really could have consolidated in the PL. This is the eating thread so I will return to something like topic.

If NCFC were a steak, we are probably a sirlion. The PL is full of; Fillet, T-bone and some sirlion near the bottom. We generally can't compete with expensive Fillets and T-bones they cost much more. If the chef is the manager however every so oftn a Fillet or a T-bone can be beaten. For example chef Mourinho lost his cookbook with Chelsea last season and he underseasoned (team spirit) and his sauces (Tactics) turned a bit and some of the sirlions tasted better.
We got promoted from the championship, a division full of Sirlion, Rump and frying steaks (And a bit of discarded grisle at the portaloo) As I said we are sirlion, with good seasoning and a decent sauce we were promoted.
For the sauce to work you need the right ingredients. And what works in the middling restaurants and gastropubs of the championship is not always upto the standard for good restaurants or michelin dinning of the PL.
So the restauranteur (Owner) or chef in our case needs to buy the right better ingredients to appease the restaurant critics of the PL (Table).
We the fans and AN the chef did not want us to be bang average and no doubt wanted to keep us up in the haut cuisine, unfortunitely his bearnaise sauce was hampered by the owners, he needed free range eggs (defenders) but got stuck with the previous seasons battery farmed ones. For fat (Strikers) he wanted butter and got marge!
We all felt that we had funds for some butter and free range eggs but had to settle for bang average because of the boards prudence.

I really don't know what I'm going on about, but really should get back to my presentation!

    Bah!

Loving the steak analogy, GM <applause>
Plus it actually works really well when you put it like that.
    'Gristle' at the Portaloo! <laugh>
I guess our performance at OT last season made van Gaal look like a real chump chop...BOOM!

Just saw a reference to Croatian Dinarski cheese, not one I've tried (though sounds utterly dee-lish!)
and this website lists 1,750 different cheeses from around the world ! <yikes>
So, next time you can't sleep, some good reading for you ;)

Iv had that one too. It is hot. Not as hot as the fire noodles though. Still very tasty and makes your eyes water though. The fire noodles I ordered off Amazon.

Samyang Spicy Fried Chicken Noodles (Buldalk Bokkeum Myeon) pack of 5 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00GE1XKHY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_UGr0xbKWJB7AX

You like your heat, so I'm sure you'll think they are mild. We found it a real challenge to finish. Very tasty, but very, very hot. There are videos on YouTube of people doing them as a challenge and a fair few can't do it.

Follow the instructions, some people do it wrong and they arnt as spicy. I think they drain the noodles, so tip away some of the hot sauce. :emoticon-0148-yes:
