    Jesus Christ...

I have a chilli plant we have never tried before. I tried the chillis a couple of times while still Green. They were so hot. They ruined me, and I'm pretty good with spice.

We picked off a couple which have turned red, a couple of weeks ago. We had Fish, salad wraps for dinner. I wanted to try the chilies while red, see if they lose a bit of heat. Dinner turned into a challenge. Those chillies are much hotter than jalapenos or habeneros which I have eaten raw. These really effect me! They have a real intense burn and it lasts for a fair while on the tongue and mouth.

They are called F1 Apache. And I cannot wait to use one as a forfeit for losing a game, and telling said mate, it's a green Jalapeno.

In which case, this may be right up your street - and any other chilli fiends on the forum.

All those chilli types are pretty tame. Even the odd padron that is 'the hot one' aren't in the league of birdeyes, let alone Scotch bonnets .
Does sound tasty though, I love padrons with salt and the squid sounds great.

    Bah!

    :emoticon-0152-heart Padron peppers.
I could certainly demolish this plate on my own - hot or not..
Just wish I'd known about them when I went to Galicia a few years back!

Remember to take a passport or some I.D., GM - it's an age-restricted product and you'll need to prove you're over 16 <ok>

Morrison's not only didn't have any of the curry left but not one bloomin foot long sausage roll! :emoticon-0121-angry Both great gimmicks but if unavailable I'll go back to more convenient alternatives like asda or tesco

    Bah!

Morrisons now doing Giant naan breads to go with that curry General. It seems that they can’t put enough of them curries on the shelf atm especially as they’re currently less than half price at £1.50. The Jalfrezi is bloody good too so go for that while they’re on offer if they don’t have the ‘volcanic vindaloo’ <ok>

My local store had none of that left the other day :emoticon-0106-cryin
I got a lamb rogan josh and a chicken tikka masala to ease my pain <ok>
Damed good for £1.50 though I believe that offer finished today?

Met my sister and brother-in-law at Waitrose this morning. I've picked up a bottle of Oakham Ales citra and a bottle of Harry Brompton's skinny alcoholic iced tea at £1.50 each.

If I don't like the Citra I'll know who to blame JM Fan! ;)
