I mix it 2 parts salt to 1 part ground ginger and use a scalpel t really cut through the skin and the fat. Drizzle oil over it and then rub in the salt/ginger mix. My daughter and family love it!!!
I must try that ginger, I have to use that to replace garlic to which I am allergic. I use a stanley knife to score the skin, solely used for the kitchen!
Spot on Dave and a Stanley knife/snap off knife is fine. Ground ginger ginger has some of the following benefits anti-inflammatory, useful for rheumatic & arthritic conditions that feel better when heat is applied helps warm & energize the body when you are chilled and/or sluggish feeling helps with colds & flu when chills & congestion are among the symptoms and it really stars in alleviating upset stomach, nausea & vomiting
Lazy option tonight, Sainsbury's chicken vindaloo. Nought special, better than the equivalent Asda or tesco though. Not as good as home cooked but didn't have time with out all day and footy that I wished I hadn't watched! Bah!
Best ready meal curries I've had believe it or not are from Lidl. Same weight etc as major supermarket's but only £1.39 ! Funnily enough I'm taking one to work for lunch tomorrow, Chicken Jalfrezi
I'd believe that. Most Lidl stuff is good and often better than asda or tesco. Their meat is definitely better and often their veg too. They did a range of tapas items a little while back and that was pretty good too. Bah!
Looks nice. I've never had a Lidl near by, I don't know if I've been to one. For that money, I'd be interested/concerned what cuts of what meat it is. (Not as a slight on Lidl, as I say I know nothing about their store, although I have heard one might be coming to Wymondham, which would be great, because I hear great things about them) But that is no money at all for a meal, how are the prices that low?!
Now that I don't drive anymore, Lydl is a two bus journey for me but I think I may have to bite the bullet and go and have a look see!
Yes, apparently where poundsdtretcher is now could become Lidl, or you've got one in Attleborough or Dereham and Dereham is getting an Aldi later this year as well
The prices are low because their overheads are low and they're happy to accept lower profit margins. Stack 'em high sell 'em cheap, a bit like when Tesco started out way back. I started shopping in Lidl at the height of the recession when things were tight, now I go every week because I feel I'm getting ripped off at Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury's et al
