going up the norwich on thursday to visit a mate at the University of East Anglia so I'll be tasting Norwich's finest brew.

I've also heard there are some nice twisty roads leading into Norwich. Get to test the handling on my mighty Rover <somersault>

Coming up the A11? It's not that twisty.....

We have dual-carriageways and everything these days from that London.

Local tipple here is Tsing Tsao, it's Chinese Lager - about 2 quid a pint. Though quite partial to Lagavulin Single Malt when I can get it, but that's once in a blue moon, and it's not stocked in the duty free shop any more so my trips back to Blighty aren't rewarded with that anymore, woe is me

you can get Tsing Tsao over here but not for a quid a pint!

warky, what about Greene King, isn't that the brew for Town?

Norfolk muck, yeah right.

I'm an Abbot ale fan too - in fact I was a guest of Greene King brewery at Portaloo Rd on the day of the infamous Rob Ullathorne backpass to Gunny:emoticon-0106-cryin<wah>

At wernt no bowla cherries drivin hm arter that nonsense bor !

here's a poll, what's the best strong ale -
(1) Adnams Broadside
(2) Greene King Abbot Ale
(3) Woodfordes Admirals Rerserve

All good strong beers - a tough call but i'd go for Admirals Reserve, although not widely availiable!
