**** sake Fossy is now a Cat counselor. You couldn't make this **** up <rofl>

rip fossy and stans cats.

...called life experience buddy ...but no question that I'll have way more pussy experience than you ... you more than likely slip at the vital moment like many a scouser and end up with a bit of **** on your dick ... :)

... will take a few days from my experience ... my daughter took a while to readjust - like waking up in the morning and wondering if it had just been a bad dream until reality kicked in a again and also thinking that she'd just seen the cat out of the corner of her eye from time to time ... there's really only one quick fix and that's getting another .... problem is that you will then get into another cycle ... but your son will at least be better able to cope with it the next time ... life can be a bit **** sometimes tbh ... ..

Our cat of 14 years died last December (that's a bloody good age tbf). I remember my dad was here at the time. We'd been given the last rites by the vet so we brought him home first to say goodbyes. I didn't tell the kids we were going to put him down, just that his condition was serious and he was going in for surgery and to wish him all the best. My dad knew though, and I still remember him leaving the room holding back the tears. That cat was without doubt a member of the family. More than that, there was something about that cat, when he looked at you, you knew there was a personality and conscience - I swear he was a person trapped in an animal!

Anyway to cut a short story long, we took him back to the vets and after he passed away we brought him home and buried him in the garden. I bought another cat soon after and the kids have moved on.

But the reason for my post was just to say, I think it's the best thing for them. IMO it helps them to deal with loss, so I had no problem getting them another one as I think it's a kind of natural rite of passage.

So your coastal retreat is an estate, but it's locked up for 10 months?

Your coastal retreat is dragged behind your Rover 25 mate

No, Tobes.

If you are implying that I own a caravan, you are wrong. Also, I would not recommend that you tow a caravan with a Rover 25.

Incidentally, as you seem to be interested in this subject, my wife no longer owns that Rover 25. It was, of course, intended only to tide her over whilst she looked for something more suitable to her needs, in the wake of her car being written-off.

How could you possibly ever roll a spliff and then forget about it? <laugh>

I get exactly what you mean...but there was a multiple rolling session taking place and my mate offered me his...I put mine down and well then we were stoned and these things happen. Rolled several more after but that beauty had been put aside and forgotten.

That's a result, then <cheers>

I've cut right back on it now. I have the odd one, some days I even go without. Never thought I'd get to this stage, but I'm better for it. Just use it in times of stress and anger now, so I can chill the **** out.
