About 2 years ago now, so I'll look forward to my next one <laugh>

It's ridiculous tbh, as you only get the chance to attend if you're within 10% of the speed limit plus 5mph and you've had no convictions within the previous 2 years (I think) BUT if you get nicked in different counties then they don't have a central database of who's already attended, so you get another invite.

Definitely the way forward is to lease. Once my Mondeo ****s up I'll be leasing something decent.

The Mrs has a decent fairly new Golf, we'll keep that until it dies, then both lease.

Exactly the same as me.

I've got points on it but they've expired. This happens periodically, what will happen now is I get caught a couple of times on the bounce and then spend the next three years more vigilant. Then repeat again.

I've only ever done one of those driver awareness courses, it was ****e. The person doing it was hell bent on convincing everyone the motorway speed limit would be safer at 60mph and we weren't having it.
