Yeah I did my basic badges years back, didn't have the time to follow it through though.
I do the odd bit of reffing and helping out, just don't have the time to manage due to work commitments.
I know it does take up a lot more time than people imagine. Did it for 5 years when my lad was playing. No way could I ref. Hate it.
Just got back, we lost 10-2
My lot won 5 drew 1 and lost 1.
The game they lost was to a bunch of goal hanging long ball merchants, shocking stuff!

I did it for one season. ****ing nightmare. Loved training the kids, hated dealing with the ****er parents.
