Well we have done it. Thank God It`s been one hell of a slog though. With all respect to Norwich and Villa, we were the biggest team in the league by some margin. Every home game was played like a cup final for visiting teams. They all ran their socks off and worked like buggery when they played us at St. James and the stats prove this It is so hard to play against teams when their main game plan is to not concede and have 9-10 men behind the ball. Nobody goes to Brighton with this game plan. Going to Brighton is not like playing a cup final, the mindset is different and this has helped Brighton this season. So the cards were stacked against us from the start this season and we have done very well to come out of this season with promotion. Well done to Rafa, the players, all the staff, all the fans and all the loonies on this forum. Its been a ride!! See you all on the Premier League Board next season..... and to Sunderland............... LMFAO
Many mags will be happy to see the back of them... at least for the opportunity to take the piss. What goes around comes around....
Whatever the expectations, whatever the money spent, coming back up at the first go is a fantastic achievement. Villa spent a fortune and are nowhere. It will mean very little if we don't kick on from here, but for now let's just enjoy that warm glow of success
