Fair play, point taken. I normally try stay out of the doom mongering but I think like many a tad frustrated QPR fans it got to me a bit lately!
There were a number of times that Henry made timely challenges as Blackpool exploited the open spaces that our first half tactics allowed them. Henry played well on Saturday and kept possession well. He also protected the back 4, as I said and that's his job.
A job that is not need when we have five at the back and needed the three points to put pressure on Burnley. Playing henry is an admission we are happy to take a draw.
We didn't have 5 at the back............we had 3 and then 2 players out wide who will never be able to play in that formation as long as they are breathing!! Anyway, I'm sure you'll have the last word and so I'll let you get on with it!
Exactly right. The tactics employed on Saturday sent out all the wrong messages. Not only to Blackpool but more importantly to the Rangers players. Redknapp should have demanded absolute effort and passion from our lot but instead he sends them a message that says we don't expect more than a draw.
It's not doom mongering but being realistic. We've changed from being a contender to being an also ran.
Harry needs to keep us third so as to hopefully get Brighton or Reading in the playoffs. Wigan, let's not go there...
not entirely true flyer - someone needed to play in the middle with carroll on saturday due to injuries. i can't think what other CM's we've got.
you can be pedantic saying a WB isnt a defender but we had 5 defenders on the pitch including 4 CBs, henry wasnt needed. Especially against a team who had lost 11 of their last 12, that team was a disgrace.
