I agree. Dare I say it, Sunderland EASILY played well enough to cause a ****load of trouble for a lot of teams in the league. Newcastle honestly had a rock solid defence on the day and Colo and S Taylor formed a solid partnership. Simpson was good, and R Taylor had the contant defensive support of Jonas, so at some stages we more or less had two LB's (one of the reasons why our attacking wasn't great). Against a lot of other teams the chances Gyan and Sess both had would have went in I reckon, but thankfully we faught hard on the day and fended you all off.

Well I had a good morning, first game of the Sunday league today, we finished 4th bottom last year and stayed up. We played a team relegated from div 1 this morning and won 5-2 so life is good again for a while.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion I just wish we could talk football without all the name calling and childish behaviour. Let's not sink to their level.

Good post above chapaz I agree with what your saying.

Ditto mate think I should have saved myself the cash, couldn't believe how bad they were and how poor we were worrying times if that's what we have to look forward to. I've heard talk of a striker and a LB coming in soon could be rubbish but, on that showing I'm not sure who would come to us.
