I think it may go to the league if both finalists finish in the top 5, I remember a few years ago when the top 5 always used to dominate both cups and it always went down to 7th

Ah well, guess we'll just have to finish 3rd so we don't have to qualify for Champs League <whistle>

Ahhh just so frustrating that we could have been playing Crystal Palace in the semi final of the League Cup!

So does that mean that 7th isn't open to Europa League anymore?

    Yep.

We'll have to finish sixth or win the FA cup.

Dougie Freedman is a good young manager. He took Palace from near the bottom last year to close to the play offs (they were 4th a few matches ago). What a man!

Best goal I've seen in a long time. Likely goal of the season. Certainly got any screamer covered. It'll have to be an unbeliveable team goal or some Bergkamp type genius from a RVP or Silva.

Thought Zaha and Clyne looked excellent tonight. Zaha is quite similar to Sammy. Clyne very small and useless in the air but extremely quick and a good defender. Not sure we need Clyne unless Simpson were to go. But I'd take Zaha to compliment our striking and wide options.

Well done Darren , if you only showed Alex Ferguson that fielding rusty 1st teamers and youth squad players is not enough to get you safe passage through to the next round. It's patronising and demeans the competition.

I'm surprised Palace held on to Ambrose after that season when he scored 20+ goals in the Championship. Would have thought a few 'bigger clubs' might have taken him.
