    Thanks- but sadly, not true.

Yes. Anya good at times, too. And my first sight of Chalobah - astonishing awareness and touch for one so young.
But as has already been said many times, we didn't turn up, and Palace did a job on us. I am so disappointed in lots of ways, having read all season about our passing game, counterattacking speed etc. I saw little flashes of it here and there, but really felt deflated about the way we played more than the actual defeat. I that strange? I don't know.

'Cos that aside, Mrs GG and I had a great day. I can positively say that Wembley is a brilliant experience for anyone with a disablilty. Top marks. The wheelchair platform was excellent, stewards superb (I'm going to write to Wembley to thank them- they were that good) toilets above average, parking easy, if expensive.

Great to back with 'the family' again. And special thanks to Cornish Mark, who came to find me at half time. Shame we didn't have longer to talk, Mark.

I have to say that I'm still not likely to get to more football in the future. When we first got to our seats, about 2pm, the sun hadn't got on to them and I felt that bitter little wind- I feel the cold so much, that winter games are going to be impossible for me. Once the sun got onto us it was fab.
Also, sadly, checking out the facilities at the Vic, I came upon this:
http://www.levelplayingfield.org.uk/clubs/watford (scroll down to the conmments)
and talking to season ticket holders in wheelchairs yeasterday, didn't exactly encourage me.

I really hope we can get that new stand some time, and provide it with facilities as good as Wembley, the Amex, Stadium MK etc. Is it too much to ask?

There were rumours a couple of months ago that if we got to the Prem then we might not take Doyley with us - a scurrilous rumour no doubt put about by Baz to frighten poor Lloydinio

Disappointed yesterday but still a great season of football.

Hope we can build on it.

A great season and a real surprise for me. I confess to having been one of the doubters in the beginning when SD was replaced, and at first I had real difficulties identifying with the new Watford under the Pozzos. It's not just the football which has won me over but Zola himself - a true gent. and someone who looks as if he really cares for the club - his reactions at the end of the Leicester game were priceless and,for me, the highlight of the season. What I want to see next season is further strengthening of the bonds between fans, manager, players and owners and the return of that element of trust which has been missing from our club for so long. I want to see our crowds return to the 15,000 mark and thus prove we need a new stand regardless of promotion - and for our fans to realize that they too can be the twelth man.

It seems bizarre that a team that always had it's great away record mentioned only picked up 1 point away from home against the 3 relegated clubs. I think that's what truly cost us automatic promotion, not the match against Leeds.

In a one-off game anything can happen. Unfortunately, it just happened to be the day where the majority of our team were running on empty.

None of the teams that finished in the top play-off spot where the final was played at Wembley were promoted this year. Kidderminster and Burton didn't make the final and Brentford and ourselves lost in the final.
